This original illustration was turned into a silkscreen and then lovingly pulled one by one onto hand made Indian paper. Silkscreen is a process that involves a lot of time and love and each print comes out slightly different- adding to the charm and originality of the work. These most recent screen prints are printed on different types of paper to create a different feel. Two layers are printed on the front of this delicate rice paper and then the other two on the back. Giving the piece a three dimensinal feel. This image was inspried by my parents 1980's floral habitat curtains. 
 
This modern, nature inspired work would be perfect in a kitchen, living room, or office. It's a beautiful color combination - modern yet old and antiquated at the same time.
